Kontora as an employer

As an employer, we value ambition, drive, responsibility, integrity, and flexibility. Where are these encountered in the workplace and why are they so important to us?

Application process

Our application process is personal, fair, honest, and clearly structured. We get to know you and you get to know us. We place huge emphasis on a good fit because we want you to feel happy working for us and able to do your best in the Kontora team. The actual application process and how long it takes can vary depending on the role and team.

1. Your application

If you’ve found a job in our company that appeals, or want to send a speculative application, please upload your application via our application portal.

2. Reviewing your application

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll have a good look at it. We’ll try to get back to you within a week.

3. First interview: online

The first interview will be a video call with our HR managers. The approx. half-hour interview will focus on getting to know each other.

4. Second interview: online

If we like you and you like us as an employer in the first interview, we’ll invite you for a roughly one-hour video call with the team leader concerned.

5. Meet-up and work session: Prien Haus

If the second interview goes well for everyone, we’ll invite you for a meet-up and work session with us at Prien Haus on Jungfernstieg. To give you and the team concerned enough time to get to know each other, this event will take about three hours.

6. Hiring and onboarding

If all requirements are met, we’ll welcome you to Kontora. Our onboarding process makes things easier for you as a Kontora newbie and ensures that you feel happy from the get-go. The process involves your team familiarising you with the job, a shadowing programme, our “What’s up newbies” feedback format and the chance to look over the shoulders of what all our teams do.
